Behaviors

The behaviors section is where you can configure the default behaviors for your production. These settings will override anything that was configured by the Property but can be overridden by a Distribution. Below are the available behaviors to create a great experience for your users.

Activations and Moments​

Set default experience settings for your interactive elements.

  • Override Activation Level Behaviors: By selecting this option you are making the production settings override overlapping activation settings during the evaluation process
  • Autoplay: When you are using the integrated video player you can set the autoplay feature to begin playback when the experience loads
  • Muted: While many browsers automatically mute video players set to autoplay you can also set the video to be muted be default even if autoplay isn't active
  • Click Outside to close Activations: When a user has opened your activations this feature allows the activation to be closed when they click outside the opened activation
  • Play Through Details: By default when a user clicks on an activation preview to view the details the platform will automatically pause the video or send a request to your external video player to pause. If you do not want the video to be paused when a user clicks on an activation you need to make this setting active
  • Fullscreen Details in Mobile Portrait: For mobile devices with limited screen real estate you may want to have the activation details open to full screen so the user can properly engage with the details. To enable this you will want to make this settings as active
  • Show Preview Through Details: When a user clicks on an activation preview to view the details the platform will automatically stop showing other activation previews. If you would like to continue showing other activation previews that have targets that are still viewable you can turn on this setting. Note Any activations that would have shown in the target currently taken up by the open activation will not show if this setting is active
  • Below the Video: By default the platform determines the aspect ratio of the container it is configured for. When the vertical space becomes higher than the horizontal space the activation will be moved to show below the video target. If you would like to force all activations to always show below the video regardless of screen dimensions you can activate this setting and all activations will show below the video regardless of the default settings

Layout​

Customize the look and feel of your video player and content layout.

  • Open Activation Width: By default when an activation is opened the size will be 33% of the video. If you would like to change that uncheck the Use Default and button and a slider will appear allowing you to select a new value
  • Backdrop Color: When you are using a squeezeback function for showing your activations or when you are using the integated video player and the webpage is a certain size there will be times that the user will see the default black background. If you would like to change the color of the background or use an image to fill the space you can apply the changes using this setting

Video Squeezeback​

If you would like to have the activations open on the outside of the video player you can select various configurations to allow the user to interact without covering the video. Please remember to check these settings on both desktop and mobile to ensure they look good for your users.
