The Social Media Block allows for one or more social media sites to be inserted into a SAM.
Block Settings
Enable Block: Allows the block to be removed from the SAM without the need to delete saving your work for another time when needed.
Settings: The settings view of the block allows for all parameters to be entered.
Block Preview: Block Preview displays the block as it will appear in the SAM.
Code: Code displays how the JSON is written as an additional view for programmers.
(X): Deleted the Block from the SAM.
Settings
The same settings are available for all the supported platforms and links:
- Copy Link (any URL)
- Tik Tok
- Website
- Yelp
- YouTube
Shape This setting affects all platform icons and allow them to be round or sqaure.
B&W Icons Switching this to ON makes all icons B&W and the individual color control will not be available.
For each platform, the following settings are available:
On/Off: Although a platform will only appear in a SAM when it has a valid URL in the URL field, this allows the particular platform pane to be part of the SAM or Not. This is helpful when a work is in progress, or the Block will used as part of a different SAM with different platforms enabled.
Customize Designs: let you pick a HEX or RGB color, or copy/paste a value in the field affecting that platform’s icon. Used to create social media branded icons.
URL: The link to the social media platform, website, email, or generic link.
Padding
Padding allows for the content to be manipulated within its block on all sides by entering a percentage or pixel value. ws for the content to be manipulated within its block on all sides by entering a percentage or pixel value.
